Jail Info
The Clark County Detention Center is located in downtown Las Vegas. The public entrance and information area to the Detention Center can be found on the west side of Casino Center Blvd between Bridger and Clark Streets. Inmate visiting, posting of bail and other important processes all occur here. There is no public parking at the Detention Center. Public parking is available in the County Parking Structure, 300 S. Casino Center Blvd. just north of the Detention Center.

Battery
"Battery" is the willful and unlawful use of force or violence upon the person of another. Generally, if the battery did not involve a weapon (such as a knife or gun) or did not result in permanent physical damage, then the crime may be classified as a misdemeanor. Batteries with weapons or serious injury are felonies. The Clark County District Attorneys Office, prosecutes all felony cases and any misdemeanor cases that occur outside of the cities of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City and Mesquite.
